Rachel and I found this swanky guy at Habitat for Humanity's Re-Store retail shop.
He was yellowed and dirty, but we saw the potential.
Before:
After:
White paint, hardware cleaned and sprayed, and he was good to go.
He also came with a sweet nightstand.
Both pieces were sold (and picked up!) within 24 hours. Everyone seems to love white furniture!

What a neat piece, you did a great job with the white!
ReplyDeletewhat was the original finish on the dresser and how hard was it to paint? It turned out amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Helen! The original finish was a laminate, which worried me at first but turned out to be no problem at all. We gave it a light sanding, primered it (spray), sanded, and then painted (again, spray paint). It went fairly quickly, too!
DeleteIt's all about mater of Wow! I really loved the piece of above furniture. It's great turned out. The last image is so neat and clean. I really love white color and that's why often prefer white painted furniture and I think the I've some old furniture and can be turned out the same way as shown above. It will really be great for my home decoration. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.
